Connecting the Sounds and Styles of Six Artists

The partnership features six artists representing a range of contemporary music scenes: Eve, Amira Elfeky, Estevie, Frost Children, House of Protection and Lily Meola.

Each artist has curated a collection of pieces from their own wardrobe to be offered through Depop, giving fans an opportunity to engage with the personal style behind their music.

At the same time, Spotify will extend the experience through an artist-curated playlist, editorial content and in-app features designed to highlight different music scenes. Together, the two platforms aim to create a discovery journey that moves between fashion and music, allowing fans to explore what the artists wear alongside the sounds that influence their creative identities.

Steve Dool, Senior Director, Brand + Creative at Depop, commented on the partnership: “This partnership brings together two brands that are deeply embedded in culture and united by a shared belief in the power of creativity and self-expression. Fashion and music have always gone hand in hand, with communities shaping what’s next through their individual style and taste. Together with Spotify, we’re creating new ways for our community to discover artists, explore personal style and connect through the cultural moments that inspire them.”

Matt Luhks, Senior Director, Global Marketing at Spotify, added: “We’re excited to spotlight six incredible artists through this partnership with Depop. We hope to give fans a deeper look at the styles and sounds that shape their perspective as artists. Many of the artists contributed to an exclusive playlist on Spotify, which is an audio companion to their Depop closets. It lets fans trace the thread between what these artists wear, what they listen to, and how they create.”

Artist Wardrobes Arrive on Depop

The partnership officially launches across both platforms on August 11.

Spotify will release the artist-curated playlist, while Depop will debut a dedicated landing page featuring curated edits and individual artist storefronts inspired by the participating musicians and their respective cultural scenes.

The six artist shop drops will then go live on August 12 at 3 p.m. ET.

Beyond presenting the artists’ looks, the project also brings pieces from their personal wardrobes into the secondhand fashion ecosystem. In doing so, the collaboration connects Spotify’s music-focused discovery model with Depop’s community-driven approach to discovering fashion through individual taste and style.

It is an intersection that extends beyond traditional artist merchandising, positioning personal wardrobes, musical influences and secondhand fashion as parts of the same cultural conversation.

A Two-Day Cultural Activation in Los Angeles

The partnership will also move offline with a two-day activation on August 13 and 14 at the Hollywood Premiere Motel on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles.

For the event, the motel will be transformed into an immersive cultural destination featuring live performances, interactive closets inspired by different music genres and curated fashion edits.

The activation is designed to bring together music, fashion and community in a physical setting, while giving visitors another way to engage with the artists and cultural scenes highlighted across the two platforms.

Fashion and music have long influenced one another in shaping cultural identity and self-expression. Through this partnership, Depop and Spotify are extending that relationship across digital discovery, secondhand commerce and physical experiences—connecting what artists listen to, what they wear and how they create within a single cultural ecosystem.
