Keke Palmer Named Host of the 2026 CFDA Fashion Awards, Set for November 2 in New York

The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) announced on August 11 that Keke Palmer will host the 2026 CFDA Fashion Awards, presented by Amazon Fashion. The ceremony will take place on November 2 at the American Museum of Natural History in New York, marking the fourth consecutive year the event has been held at the venue.

Palmer rose to prominence at the age of 12 with her breakout role in Akeelah and the Bee and has since appeared in more than 25 films and 30 television shows, including True Jackson, VP.

More recently, she starred in One of Them Days and appeared in Jordan Peele’s Nope, Aziz Ansari’s Good Fortune, and Amazon’s The Pickup alongside Eddie Murphy and Pete Davidson. She also hosts NBC’s Password with Jimmy Fallon.

Her work extends well beyond entertainment. Palmer is the author of the New York Times best-selling book Master of Me: The Secret to Controlling Your Narrative and serves as CEO and founder of KeyTV and Big Bosses Entertainment. She also founded the wellness platform Practice by Palmer and launched the podcast Baby, This is Keke Palmer with Wondery/Amazon.

Returning to the American Museum of Natural History for a Fourth Year

The 2026 CFDA Fashion Awards will be held on Monday, November 2, at the American Museum of Natural History in New York. It will mark the fourth consecutive year the ceremony has taken place at the venue.

In addition to presenting partner Amazon Fashion, Google Shopping will support the American Emerging Designer of the Year award. M·A·C Cosmetics will serve as the Official Beauty Partner, while Krug will return as the Official Champagne Partner.

This year also marks the 30th anniversary of the CFDA Scholarship Fund. In recognition of the milestone, WYouth and Nuuly will present the Student Viewing Section at the 2026 CFDA Fashion Awards.

According to the CFDA, the organization has raised a record amount to support the next generation of American fashion talent as part of the anniversary initiative.

Nominations Open Through August 31

Nominees and winners in the American Womenswear, American Menswear, Accessory Design, and Emerging Designer of the Year categories are determined by the CFDA Fashion Awards Guild.

The invitation-only voting body includes CFDA member designers, fashion editors and journalists, retail executives, stylists, influencers, and other professionals from across the fashion industry.

The 2026 nomination process began on August 4 and will close on August 31.

Nominees, honorees, presenters, and additional details surrounding the 2026 CFDA Fashion Awards are expected to be announced in the coming months.
