On July 22, global eyewear brand Gentle Monster revealed the second design in its next-generation intelligent eyewear collection, a line born from a technical collaboration with Google and Samsung Electronics. Following the first design shown earlier this year, the new piece is characterized by a minimal, square-silhouette optical frame.

Built to interact with Google’s Gemini assistant by voice, the collection folds audio, a camera and a microphone into a familiar eyewear form. The brand’s first-ever intelligent eyewear will arrive this fall in a range of styles.

The frame was unveiled through visuals starring global models Alex Consani and Anok Yai, fusing smart functionality with the brand’s singular aesthetic.

Additionally, the intelligent eyewear is compatible with both Android devices (such as Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel) and iOS devices (including Apple iPhone), offering functions accessible through a smartphone app and voice control. A built-in speaker, camera, and microphone handle music playback, voice calls, and photo capture, while simple voice commands bring Gemini’s core features to hand, entirely hands-free. Powered by Gemini, the collection offers real-time translation, navigation, context-aware personal support, and visual capture, helping users communicate, reach information, and engage with their surroundings through a natural, hands-free AI experience. Designed to stay light enough for all-day wear, it runs up to nine hours on a single charge, with the charging case adding more than seven further charges.
