On July 8, Lebanese couture house Zuhair Murad unveiled its Fall/Winter 2026-27 Haute Couture collection, titled “Love and Dominion,” during Paris Haute Couture Week.

This season, the couturier envisioned a heroine who refuses to yield to adversity and quietly commands her own power. Even as the world fractures around her, she remains standing—powerful, unbroken, protective, and magnificent.

Within her lies enough magic to destroy everything, yet also the wisdom to transform only what truly deserves to be changed. Wrought-iron-inspired motifs are also reimagined as weightless trompe-l’œil. Rather than suggesting a cage designed to confine, they evoke an opening through which one might escape.

Elsewhere, flowing trails of embroidery appear across pale pink tulle. Like a gentle light entering a dark winter world, these softer tones quietly ease the collection’s underlying tension.

Rather than erasing darkness, the collection allows light to pass through it. Zuhair Murad’s heroine does not deny the experiences that have wounded her; she transforms them into a new form of beauty.
