Marc Jacobs Opens a New Store at Isetan Shinjuku, Alongside an Exclusive RUNWAY 2026 Pop-Up

New York–born fashion and lifestyle brand Marc Jacobs has established a new presence in Tokyo. On September 2, 2026, the brand opened a store within TOKYO Closet on the second floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building. On the same floor, a limited-time pop-up dedicated to the brand’s rare RUNWAY 2026 COLLECTION is also underway.

The new store translates the runway spirit at the heart of Marc Jacobs into fresh, wearable propositions for everyday life. Alongside the latest ready-to-wear, the space presents a broad selection of shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry, eyewear and fragrances.

Bringing the experimentation of the runway into dialogue with a real-world wardrobe, the store offers a comprehensive view of the Marc Jacobs universe today.

A Rare Presentation of the RUNWAY 2026 COLLECTION

To coincide with the opening, the MARC JACOBS RUNWAY 2026 POP-UP STORE is taking place at Center Park on the second floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building through September 8.

The pop-up brings together the RUNWAY 2026 COLLECTION, which is available at only two stores worldwide. The presentation also includes Japan-exclusive pieces, offering visitors a closer look at the brand’s more conceptual and experimental side.

This season’s theme, “MEMORY. LOSS.,” explores the relationship between memory and absence, as well as the space where the past and future intersect. Through the collection, Marc Jacobs considers how memories shape who we are, what we create and leave behind, and what we choose to carry with us into the future.

The pop-up features ready-to-wear and handbags that embody this vision, including pieces available exclusively at Isetan Shinjuku.

Together, the permanent store and limited-time pop-up reveal two complementary dimensions of Marc Jacobs: one grounded in an accessible, contemporary wardrobe and the other driven by the freedom and imagination of the runway. At Isetan Shinjuku, the two now meet on a single floor.
