Zendaya Appointed Global Ambassador for Prada Beauty’s Paradoxe Fragrance

Prada’s beauty line, Prada Beauty, has appointed American actor Zendaya as the new global ambassador for its Prada Paradoxe fragrance collection. The announcement coincides with the unveiling of Prada Paradoxe Sweet Chemistry Eau de Parfum and a new campaign starring Zendaya.

Known for moving seamlessly between diverse roles and continually transforming her red-carpet image, Zendaya reflects the multifaceted identity at the heart of Prada Paradoxe. Prada Beauty draws a connection between her ability to embrace change while remaining authentic and the fragrance collection’s celebration of femininity that resists a single definition.

The new campaign was directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Barry Jenkins. Exploring the coexistence of strength and vulnerability, change and continuity, the visuals capture the complex, ever-evolving identity shared by Zendaya and Prada Paradoxe.

The partnership arrives alongside Prada Paradoxe Sweet Chemistry Eau de Parfum, a fruity-floral fragrance that offers a sophisticated and contemporary reinterpretation of sweetness.

A vibrant blackcurrant syrup accord opens the composition, followed by the radiance of orange blossom absolute at its heart. An enveloping neroli milk accord introduces a soft, creamy quality at the base, creating a balance between intensity and delicacy. The fragrance is presented in the refillable bottle that has become a signature of the Prada Paradoxe collection.

Zendaya shared her personal connection to the fragrance: “I love the way Paradoxe celebrates complexity, conveying strength and vulnerability without trying to pigeonhole or define a person. For me, the fragrances we choose reflect the way we experience the world. Joining the brand felt completely natural, especially as Paradoxe was already one of my favourite fragrances, which I wore long before I was approached.”

Zendaya has received two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her performance in Euphoria, becoming the youngest two-time winner in the category. Having established a distinct presence across film and fashion, she now explores another dimension of personal expression through fragrance. A partnership marking the beginning of a new chapter for Prada Paradoxe.
