Where Nature, Memory, and Clothing Converge
Lille Strandkær was the summer residence of Danish writer, philanthropist, and nature conservationist Ellen Dahl, who was also the younger sister of author Karen Blixen.
Surrounded by the forests and open landscape of Mols Bjerge, the house carries a quiet sense of history. Soft Nordic light moves through its interiors and gardens, drawing attention to the textures of wood, stone, vegetation, and carefully crafted fabric.
The character of the architecture and the understated presence of Loro Piana’s garments exist within the same visual language, presenting clothing as something designed to inhabit everyday life and acquire meaning over time.
The Maison’s Codes in a Quiet Setting
The campaign features Brazilian model Raquel Zimmermann and German model Leon Dame, who enter the secluded world of Lille Strandkær wearing a selection of Loro Piana’s most recognizable designs.
Among them are the Spagna and Francesca coats, distinguished by their fluid silhouettes and understated elegance, alongside functional outerwear including the Traveller, Roadster, Loro Piana Icer, Voyager, Maremma, and Rovasenda.
The restrained palette and softened proportions allow each garment to settle naturally into its surroundings. Functional details remain discreet, directing attention toward the qualities at the heart of the Maison’s work: material, construction, comfort, and movement.
The André shirt and Loro Piana Bomber introduce a relaxed sensibility, while the footwear selection includes the Sergio Walk, Lou Tassel Walk, Summer Charms Walk, and the Summer Walk, one of the signature styles within the Maison’s White Sole family. The looks are completed with the Grande Unita scarf, adding warmth and depth without disrupting the campaign’s sense of ease.
Icons That Evolve Without Losing Their Identity
For Loro Piana, an Icon represents more than a product that has remained in a collection for many years. It embodies the Maison’s knowledge of exceptional materials, craftsmanship, functionality, and restrained elegance in a form designed to endure.
The lineage began with the Horsey® Jacket, introduced in 1992 as the Maison’s first Icon. Created with practicality in mind while retaining a refined silhouette, the jacket has continued to evolve through adjustments in materials and details without losing its essential identity.
This approach defines the wider Loro Piana Icons collection. Rather than pursuing radical transformation, each design is refined from season to season, preserving the characteristics that made it recognizable while improving its relevance to contemporary life.
This year, the Maremma, Rovasenda, and Lou Tassel Walk join that lineage as new Icons. Their inclusion reflects an understanding of timelessness not as resistance to change, but as the ability to evolve without abandoning purpose, character, or craftsmanship.
Dressing for the Passage of Time
At a moment when fashion is frequently measured by novelty and immediate visual impact, the campaign presents a different definition of luxury.
A house marked by the lives once lived within it, a forest that changes with the seasons, and garments intended to be worn over many years all share an acceptance of time. Rather than attempting to conceal its passage, they allow it to deepen their meaning.
Through Galiegue’s intimate photographs, Loro Piana’s Icons emerge not as symbols of a completed past, but as designs that continue to develop through use and experience.
Functionality expressed without excess. Elegance that does not need to announce itself. Against the quiet light and landscape of Denmark, the campaign offers a considered portrait of what timelessness means to Loro Piana.
